Frequently Asked Questions

    1. How do I register?

    You can register on-line or print out the registration form and mail/fax it in. Remember that we will not process your registration until your payment is received.

    1. What forms of payment do you accept?

    You can pay your registration fees with a check, money order, Visa, or MasterCard. If you do not want to fax your credit card number, please call Bonnie Bender at 913-634-1163 and she will assist you.  All fees must be paid in full with registration. 

    1. How and when do I get my study guide?

    We will send your study guide to you via the U.S. Postal service’s priority mail once we have received your registration form and payment of your fees.

    1. Where do the testing sessions take place?

    The testing sessions are in Kansas City, Topeka, or Wichita. The specific location for your testing is listed in the event description on the website.

    1. What is your certification testing cancellation policy?

    You can cancel your registration for the certification session up to 72 hours (3 business days) prior to the testing date.  If you cancel less than 72 hours prior to your testing date or do not show up for your scheduled testing, you will forfeit your entire registration fee.  Direct substitutions may be made at any time.

    1. What time do I test?

    Your test will begin at 8 am.

    1. Will a testing session be cancelled because of weather?

    No, rain or shine testing sessions are conducted.

    1. What do I do if I fail the written or performance exam?

    You can register to re-take a written or performance exam at any testing session. When you register just check the “written only” or “performance only” box on the registration form. There are fees for retaking a written or performance exam.
